Walt Disney World: Four Parks, Four Completely Different Experiences
While some might think the Magic Kingdom is Walt Disney World, it is so much more. With all the different types of resorts, mini golf courses, waterparks, and a shopping district that makes up a major part of the resort, it is the four theme parks that are truly the heart of it all.
From Hollywood Studios, to EPCOT, to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, each of them has its own distinct theme, but each brings joy to everyone that visits them.
Hollywood Studios transports you back in time to the great era of filmmaking. Walking down Sunset Boulevard lets you feel like it’s the 1950’s again. From the architecture, to the characters on the street, and even the music that floats in the air, for some it is a blast from the past.
DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Storytelling immersion is one of Disney's most amazing qualities. Ever want to feel like a toy? Toy Story Land shrinks you down to the size of a toy, where you can join Woody, Buzz and Jessie and the gang on a backyard adventure. But be careful, don’t let Andy see you!
Imagine a place where Stormtroopers roam the streets, and Republic fighters hide in secret from the First Order. In Galaxy’s Edge, You'll be transported to Batuu, a planet on the Outer Rim, where the rebels are trying to establish a rebel base. Fly the Millennium Falcon on “transport” missions for the republic or secretly build a lightsaber in Savi’s Workshop.
Want a thrill of a lifetime? Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets has you spinning and rocking to the Muppets greatest hits. Tower of Terror will have you falling in love with this classic freefall attraction.

Need a place to escape the Florida heat? Hollywood Studios has incredible shows that you can not miss. Was your favorite villain the most understood of all? Vote for your favorite villain in “Disney Villains: Unfairly Every After”, where Maleficent, Cruella and Captain Hook tell their side of the story of what really happened.
Want something a bit cooler? Join the Royal Historians of Arendelle and sing along as they retell the story of two sisters whose love for one another proves stronger than even the coldest winter at Frozen Sing Along Celebration.
EPCOT
Around the World in 80 Days is such a classic iconic film. But what if I said you could go around the world in a matter of a few hours? At EPCOT, you can visit 11 countries all within a day's time and never leave Florida.
EPCOT is one of the best known theme parks at Disney World. Split into 4 different areas: World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase, it has something for everyone.
World Celebration is the center hub of the whole park, designed to bring people together as a place to gather. It features the classic ride, Spaceship Earth, as well as CommuniCore Hall and “Walt the Dreamer” statue, which overlooks the rest of the park.

World Discovery was designed around science, technology and intergalactic exploration. With classic rides such as Mission: Space and Test Track, it also brought in newer rides as well, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and the space themed restaurant Space 220.
World Nature celebrates the Earth and the conservation efforts to preserve it. Take a boat ride on Living with the Land and learn about how Disney uses sustainable agriculture to feed its guests. Walk through Journey of Water with Moana, and learn about the water cycle in fun interactive water features. Surf theEast Australian Current (EAC) or as Crush would say, "the EAC, dude!" in search of Nemo, and in a real aquarium full of fish, sea turtles and sharks!
While the rest of the park got a major facelift in recent years, the World Showcase hasn’t changed much, except for the addition of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. The World Showcase features 11 countries from all over the world, from France and England to Morocco and Mexico. Eat amazing food or explore different drinks from each of these countries and talk with Cast Members that are actually from there.
DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
Dare to take a ride on the wild side? Disney's Animal Kingdom takes you into the jungle and lets you see giraffes, zebras, and rhinos up close. African safaris, Asian treks, and the new Australian walkthrough at Conservation Station let you experience animals from around the world without ever leaving Florida. Families visiting the area may even spot Bluey and her friends, making Animal Kingdom even more popular with younger adventurers.
Ever seen a yeti? Board an old expedition train in search of the mythical beast. Speed forwards and backwards through the mountains on Expedition Everest, but be careful, he may come out of nowhere.
Jump into a jeep as a safari guide takes you through the great plains as you look for real animals walking around. Some might even come up and say hi. Then head into the dense jungles where you might spot crocodiles basking in the sun, or hippos swimming in the lagoon as you drive by. No two safaris are ever the same. If you are lucky enough, you might get to see a lion roar.

If Batuu wasn’t enough for you in Hollywood Studios, be sure to check out Pandora-The World of Avatar. Float down a dark river and see the wondrous glow of the Na'vi home planet and see the great tree of Eywa. Want more excitement after chasing a yeti? Mind-link to an avatar on the back of a banshee and see Pandora like never before.
MAGIC KINGDOM
Magic Kingdom. The most nostalgic theme park of them all. The park that contains rides from everyone’s childhood. Smells that you will remember forever. Firework shows that light up the night sky. This is the park that millions dream of visiting at least once in their lifetime.
Magic Kingdom is divided into six uniquely themed lands that surround Cinderella Castle like spokes on a wheel. From the futuristic attractions of Tomorrowland to the swashbuckling adventures of Adventureland, each land offers its own atmosphere, attractions, dining, and entertainment. Whether you're exploring fairy tales in Fantasyland, stepping into the Old West in Frontierland, strolling down the nostalgic streets of Liberty Square, or taking in the charm of Main Street, U.S.A., every corner of the park tells a different story and offers a completely different experience.

Step into tomorrow in Tomorrowland. Enter the Grid and race through the digital frontier on one of the fastest attractions at Walt Disney World, TRON Lightcycle / Run. Help Buzz Lightyear defeat the evil Emperor Zurg as you train to become a Space Ranger on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Think you have what it takes to help generate laugh energy with Sulley and Mike Wazowski at Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor?
Adventure awaits in Adventureland. Help Captain Jack Sparrow escape the infamous Captain Barbossa aboard Pirates of the Caribbean, and maybe even find some treasure along the way. Discover the eighth wonder of the world—the backside of water—with a Jungle Cruise skipper as they deliver more puns than you'll find in this article. After your expedition, cool off with a refreshing Dole Whip while listening to the most exotic birds, flowers, and tiki gods sing and dance in Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.
Your favorite storybook characters come to life in Fantasyland. Soar across the skies of Neverland with Peter Pan as he helps Wendy, John, and Michael escape the villainous Captain Hook and his band of pirates. Meet beloved princesses like Tiana, Cinderella, and more at Princess Fairytale Hall. Think you have what it takes to rule the kingdom? Test your strength as you attempt to pull Excalibur from the stone. Then take a journey around the globe on "it's a small world," where you'll discover just how connected our world really is through music, culture, and a little Disney magic. Ride alongside the Seven Dwarfs as you journey through their glittering diamond mine before encountering Snow White and her friends on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Step into the Wild West of Frontierland. Hold on tight as you ride the wildest ride in the wilderness aboard Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, speeding through an abandoned mining town deep in the desert. Join Tiana, Mama Odie, and Louis on a musical journey through the bayou as you search for a band to perform at Tiana's big celebration. Don't forget your poncho—you may need it! After all that excitement, stop by Country Bear Musical Jamboree, where a group of singing bears proves that Frontierland's wildlife has plenty of musical talent.
Step back in time in Liberty Square, where American history comes to life. Catch a performance from the Muppets as they hilariously recount the story of the United States in Muppets Present... Great Moments in American History. Curious to learn more about the nation's leaders? Take a seat as presidents past and present share the story of America and the ideals that helped shape it. Looking for something a little more mysterious? Hop aboard a Doom Buggy, if you dare, and tour the Haunted Mansion, home to 999 happy haunts. But be careful—there is always room for one more.
Last but certainly not least is Main Street, U.S.A., the first land guests experience as they enter Magic Kingdom. Inspired by the small-town America of Walt Disney's childhood, Main Street welcomes visitors with charming storefronts, horse-drawn trolleys, and the sweet aroma of treats from the Main Street Confectionery. Browse the many shops for the perfect souvenir, grab a snack before your next adventure, and be sure to stop for a photo in front of Cinderella Castle. While Main Street may not have the thrills of the other lands, it serves as the heart of Magic Kingdom and the perfect place to soak in the magic of Disney.
